MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Neuheit Racing

After a few Grand Prix marked by bad weather, the sun has been shining this week end on the track in Loket, Czech Republic, scene of the twelfth round of the Motocross World Championship.

MIVV has been once again one of the main characters of the event, both in MX1 and MX2, but the best results of the day have come from the MX2 European Championship, where Tim Gajser, aboard his Silver Action’s Team KTM SX-F 250 powered by MIVV, has clinched the second step of the podium, courtesy of his 3-2 finishes. The young Slovenian has been fast in all the practice sessions and has shown no fear to battle with the likes of Mel Pocock, who has been racing in MX2, too.

Good results for team mate Robin Kappel, too, who clinched 6th in the first outing but was forced to the pits in Race 2 after experiencing technical problems at his KTM on the third lap.

MX2 turned out to be very positive for MIVV, thanks to Josè Butron, who clinched ninth at the end of an intense day of racing. The Diga Racing’s flagship rider has confirmed his skills as a good starter, after sealing the holeshot once again in the first moto.

Davide Guarneri has represented MIVV’s colours in MX1, producing two good performances: in Race 1 the Italian rider missed his start, as a result of which he was almost last in the first corner. “Pota”, as he is known in the paddock, started pushing hard to come back and took the chequered flag in thirteenth. In Race 2 he had a better start, but he had put in so many energies in the first moto’s comeback that he decided not too take risks and settled in thirteenth, position that he held until the finish line.
