Contributing to preserving our ecosystem is therefore for us an extremely important and clear objective.

MIVV has been committed to reducing exhaust gas emissions ever since 1988.
An objective that we have pursued by professionally and skilfully designing engines with catalytic converters, first for the automotive sector, and now for the motorcycle sector.
All the systems designed and supplied as standard by our company use catalytic converters capable of eliminating the most toxic gases emitted by the propeller during the combustion stage.
The extremely high level of skills acquired in designing these systems are also put to use with great results on our after-market products.
The development of catalytic converters of the latest technology, using ceramic or metal, is the result of detailed studies of each type of engine, followed by extensive testing, performed on each new product. This is a task that is carried out on a daily basis with the utmost attention by our R&D technicians.

All the exhaust systems of our motorcycle lines...
are fitted with these devices (catalytic converters). The tests carried out inside our R&D unit enable us to consistently meet the homologation requirements set by the Ministry.
We are therefore proud to say that our company complies 100% with the requirements of EURO norms on gas pollution abatement, and obviously on sound level limits (both parameters strongly connected with the respect for the environment).
