Monday 23 April 2012 - MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP This time we have got so close!! MIVV has ended the second round (out of 16 Grand Prix’s) of the Motocross World Championship with a great result in MX2, thanks to Spaniard Josè Butron, who clinched a valuable eleventh spot at the end of an action packed racing day. The KTM Diga Racing’s and MIVV’s flagship rider has had things complicate in the first outing: after a decent start, Butron got tangled up with Tonkov and crashed, which forced him to come back form behind. The Spanish ace clinched his teeth and pushed hard to work his way up through the field, which rewarded him with 13th spot as the chequered flag was waved. Race 2 was a little bit easier for Butron, who has been circulating in sixth spot for most of the race, but had to give way to Lupino at the very last lap and settled for seventh, as a result of which he got a valuable eleventh spot in the overall classification. Silver Action Team’s star Davide Guarneri had not the luckiest day of his career: in Race 1 he was forced to the pits with a bent handlebar after a minor crash, while in Race 2 he produced a good performance which was rewarded with eleventh at the end of the race. Don’t miss the next GP, which will be also MIVV’s home Grand Prix: the third round of the series will be host by Fermo (centre of Italy) next week end. Come and see the action!
