Monday 23 July 2012 - MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP The Motocross World Championship has stopped at the new track of Semigorje, Russia, for the eleventh round of the series and, in front of a crowd of 45.000 fans, MIVV has scored positive results. In MX2, MIVV’s flagship rider Josè Butron has clinched a top ten finish, courtesy of a 12th spot in Race 1 and a ninth place in Race 2, and this despite a mechanical problem in the qualifying race has dropped him out of the race on the very first lap, which meant a less than good position for him at the starting gate of Sunday’s races. The Spaniard showed no fear as he put his head down and came back in both motos to clinch a well deserved top ten finish in the GP. In MX1, Davide Guarneri‘s results has been affected by an intestinal virus which has been affecting him form the previous Grand Prix. The strong Italian clinched his teeth to limit the damages and grabbed the thirteenth spot at the end of a hard Grand Prix. Photo by: Swijgers / HaudiquertPhoto by: Swijgers / Haudiquert
