MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Nouveatués Racing

The seventh round of the Motocross World Championship has been held this past week end at the track of Agueda, Portugal. MIVV’s flagship riders have posted good results both in MX1 and MX2 class, even if they could have been even better, especially for Davide Guarneri. The KTM Silver Action Team’s star has experienced a very positive qualifying Saturday in Portugal, as he posted the sixth fastest crono in the pre-qualifying session and repeated the result in the qualification heat.

In Sunday’s races the Italian took the chequered flag in eleventh spot in race 1, where he also twisted his ankle and was only sixteenth in the final outing after he had a small crash. Team mate Mihail Cociu failed to score points and also got tangled up with a rival in race one as a consequence of which he sustained a minor injury to his hand.
In MX2 Josè Butron was the best MIVV’s rider as he clinched two thirteenth spot on the tricky track of Agueda, which had become heavy due to heavy rain on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

No rest for our riders, who, already next week end, will attend to the eighth round of the series to be held in Bastogne, Belgium.
